Hello, my name is Craig Pauls, and I’m a Doctor of Chiropractic at Family Health Quest. I am originally from Richland Center, Wisconsin, a town of just over 5,000 about two hours Northwest of Freeport. Along with my parents and one brother, I lived on a 45-acre beef cattle hobby farm, but both of my parents worked other jobs as well. Starting in 1999, I attended UW-Richland for two years, receiving an Associate’s Degree. I then received my Bachelor’s Degree from UW-La Crosse with a Biomedical major and Chemistry minor. The next three years of my life were spent in Davenport, Iowa at Palmer College of Chiropractic, where I earned my Doctorate. At Palmer, I was involved with several clubs including the Gonstead Club (one of the techniques that I use), and I was the president of the Christian Chiropractic Fellowship on campus my final year there. Throughout school, I worked full-time on top of my class load and extracurricular activities in order to pay my own way. This has twice been put into extra perspective for me while on mission trips providing chiropractic care at free clinics. It was very humbling to see some of the poverty-stricken areas that we witnessed in India and Honduras. These were amazing opportunities to experience other cultures and further my chiropractic skills. It was so powerful to see chiropractic affect people so deeply. Throughout our time abroad, the local people would line up around the block for a chance to have us adjust them. Of course, I would be remiss if I did not mention my amazing wife since 2007, Kiley. We met when she was attending St. Ambrose University in Davenport, where she received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Having a spouse whom is also in the healthcare field has taught me a lot. She is a great resource for me and gives me a different way of looking at things. She has also given me three great kids (2 boys and a girl)! Kiley grew up in Lanark, so she is an Illinois girl through and through. Her family owns a dairy farm near Shannon, and her mom, Sharon, was the long-time secretary for the athletic department at Highland College. I pledge to you that I will work hard to earn your trust and confidence in taking care of you and your family’s chiropractic healthcare needs. If you have any questions for me throughout this process, please feel free to contact me at any time. It is very important to me that I be here at all times for my patients. I am really looking forward to my time getting to know and serve you.

Greetings! I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I grew up in local small town Shannon, Illinois, before eventually moving to the Pecatonica/Durand area where we currently live. My parents raised me and my two sisters in Freeport before we moved to Shannon in 2003. I have two older sisters whom I cherish spending time with, along with my energetic nieces and nephews. Another very important person in my life is my wonderful husband, Anthony Pehl. We first met when we both were a young sixteen years old. We enjoyed our winter wedding in December, 2016. My family was and still is my major support system and source of encouragement. I graduated from Eastland High School in 2010 and then attended Highland Community College for two years where I received my associate of science degree. In the summer of 2012, I moved to Davenport, Iowa to begin my chiropractic journey at Palmer College of Chiropractic. I graduated with honors in June 2016 with my Doctorate in Chiropractic and also with my Bachelor's degree. My time spent at Palmer was a great experience. Being in an atmosphere with so many other students, professors, and doctors all passionate and excited about chiropractic was such an inspiration. Taking the time to really explore and learn from my staff doctors in clinic was very valuable, which I applied to my personalized patient care. The feeling of joy that comes with seeing patients respond and reach their health goals with chiropractic care is something I thrived on, and continue to seek every day. I am very blessed to have had the amazing opportunity to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic. I look forward to relaying my knowledge and clinical skills to my patients, with an open mind, open heart, and open hands. When I'm not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church, or just trying to relax and enjoy our home!  Anthony and I love spending time outside and with our very spoiled cat named Dash. Just simply being with my loved ones and friends makes me quite content and joyful! I am very excited and eager to provide you and your family with wholesome and compassionate chiropractic care. It is my personal oath to you that I will give fully of myself and dedicate my time and abilities to your healthcare needs and concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have; I am pleased to help in any way that I can. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach all your healthcare goals!
